During July 2003 the parish council decided
to run a Parish Plan as recommended by the
Countryside agency. The following is
information from their web

What
is a Parish Plan?
The Plan itself is a vision of how you would
like your town or village to be.
For many communities, it's also a stepping
stone to applications for other grants such as
those for transport and community services.
Your
Plan might address:
housing
bus
services
distance
of nearest doctor's surgery
local
parks and green spaces
play
groups
village
halls or other meeting places
support
for local businesses
building
projects - ensuring designs and uses are
compatible with existing buildings and
their residents.
How
much can we claim in grant funding?
Up to £5,000, to meet up to 75% of the cost
of preparing the Plan.
